Blogger Ryan Millar wrote a very subjective and useful article on French Classes in Brussels. These turned out to be of great assistance to a fellow expat Canadian whom we shall call ‘Brenda’.

Brenda surprised the author by introducing herself to him at graduation cermeonies at their language school. She proceeded to speak to him in excited and pretty darn good French. Embarrassingly she was waaay better at French than him, despite (officially) being two levels below him. It was the first time that the blogger had ever been recognized on the strength of his blogging. Not to mention his thrilling journalistic exposé (that’s a french word!!) of language schools in Brussels. There you go, internet.
