The Polish Professional Women’s Society of the Netherlands recently celebrated their 10th anniversary. I was lucky enough not only to be invited to the gala dinner, but to host it. It was a delightful evening, in which we managed to walk the balance of an evening suitably dignified and suited to the surroundings (the Polish Mabassador to the Netherlands was there and people were in gowns and tuxes), yet also quite relaxed and joyful.
There was a great stand-up comedian as well, a woman by the name of Mazi, who just ahppens to be, in addition to a comic, a Polish professional woman who lives in the Netherlands.
So all together it came off quite smoothly. A claim to which you might rightfully ask, “Well, Ryan were you happy?”
And I can answer with confidence, yes I was.
