“You can do anything, but not everything.” — David Allen

This David Allen guy wrote a book called Getting Things Done, so I figure he really knows lots about getting things done.

Which is great for me, because I personally find this getting-things-done process really hard; I’m always thinking of lots of stuff I could be doing. I have a whole bunch of interests and ideas and feelings (and responsibilities), so it’s easy to split focus into many directions.

But that’s why this quote resonates with me; it reminds me of the importance of focusing.

Try and do a few things, not a few dozen things, Ryan.
