Just last week I was in Finland for an amazing week of improv workshops, shows, weather and general amazing times. It was a really intense and wonderful experience.

Now I get to turn around and do it all over again. I’ll be in London next week for the Slapdash Festival, London’s international improv fest. And it too, will be a doozy of a festival.
Full disclosure: I have, since last year’s edition, been a co-director of Slapdash, along with Jules Munns, the founder.

But even if that weren’t the case, I’d be able to recognise that there is an amazing cast of international improvisers coming to London (and Brighton and Nottingham) with all kinds of tremendous shows and workshops.

We’ve got dynamite people from Philly, New York, Toronto, Amsterdam (me), Tel Aviv, Wuerzberg, and other places as well.

There’s a pretty spectacular lineup of events all set, and I’m really excited about it, for myself, but also for London.

Having just returned from an international improv festival, I have very recently been reminded how great they can be. And I really hope London is excited about the roster of shows we’ve put together, because there is some amazing stuff that’s about to happen.

And it starts tomorrow.

PS: If you’re in London too and want to see me. We should meet up. I’ll be at The Nursery. Come down and let’s hang out.

PPS: You know who else is excited about the festival? Judah Friedlander, World Champion.
